{continued} as soon as take off took place i wandered out into the hallway ,and wound up in what was the equivalent of the lounge car. what was my astonishment to see a well known land mark in a big city in the united states - in fact the golden gate bridge in San Francisco! but seen from a very great height. i was very surprised and went looking down the aisle to seek help and an explanation. i did not know the nature of this craft,or its name but thanks to what i saw i did know where i was-San Francisco.from about a distance of 1000 feet high. i walked very rapidly down the aisle . on either side were doors that i thought were to cabins and almost bumped into one of my friends. ME: whew. J. Hickory, can you tell me what is going on? J. HICKORY: J. Oak,it seems like this craft is some sort of multi-purpose craft. and man can it get speed ME; i gathered that. it was not even half an hour since we speculated we were in southern California.do you know what kind of craft it is? J. hickory: don't know but it something way beyond anything i've ever seen. ME: let's go find someone. on the search we passed through the lounge room again and now both he and i were astonished. i said "do you know where that is? HE: no ME: that is the Burrard street bridge in Vancouver ,British Columbia. HE: no kidding ME: absolutely not. i recognize it HE: darn.just whats going on here. ME: that's what we're going to find out. come on. we walked down the hallway with metal floor, not unlike the passageways in passenger trains, until we found someone in uniform. i saluted him ME: good morning, sir (the ship was so fast it was still morning)he returned the salutation. i asked him he could tell me the type of transport we were in. he saluted and said *you will have to see our chief engineer for that. he can explain it best* [continued]
