Any montage dreams?

I had experienced a dream of numerous images (in montage forms) estimated to have lasted between a few seconds, to one-half minute in length.

I sense that the images with clear audio-visual content ranged from neutral to negative in feeling.

I haven't had this sort of experience. This montage definitely seems to come from the unconscious. One might compare this experience to the use of special drugs. The unconscious seems to be working something out for you, digesting something, possibly negative.

I've had some dreams that loosely fit that description, but more like a series of vignettes, as there was some movement involved.

I remember sound being prominent, e.g. while a stylised, graphical whisky glass was tilted, there was a loud tinkling of ice cubes.

I haven't had dreams like that. But, I have had visions like that. I would be laid in bed or lying still and I would see a different picture or even short video which after a second would be replaced by a different picture. These would last for several minutes or even longer.
