Skinning me

I was in a barren area, a stoney plateau in front of me stone beneath me, my hair was shorter, my body slumped over on all fours.
I can't tell If the thumping sound is my heart beat or drums.
My nerves are on fire, I feel the taste of metal in my mouth, the desire to cry.
I feel it then, a sharp object, the blood trailing down my arm sliding towards and pooling between my fingers.
I feel the stinging/throbbing of the wound after a moment, then I the perpetrator, drops a piece of flesh the length of my shoulder to my elbows on the ground in front of my face.
The sun high above me the wind stinging my wound as it glides over me.
The face in my blood changes and now another person steps another piece of flesh from me.
And another, under im dizzy and sick and my back is skinless and my blood is now a shallow pond beneath me.
My sweat and tears mix with it.
I collapse into the puddle alive but on egde, only able to see the feet of those that have done this to me.
I watch the sky in the pool of blood I'm laying in.

the feeling of bile and vomit rising is what woke me.
