Weird time travel dream

This dream is about 30 yrs old. it's very intense and has never left me. I was about 40 yrs old and living in my house where i live now. at the beginning of the dream i wake up in my childhood room . while im dreaming i find this strange but i go with it. i go down the stairs to the kitchen where i find my parents. they are very young , like maybe in their 30s.as im standing there they start talking about things that dont make sense to me. like, did you do your homework, feed the dog, things like that. because i know im around 40 yrs old. i say to them , this cant be real. youre not really here. they say, what are you talking about, we are right here. so i start slapping myself in the face and i keep saying, wake up, wake up!!! then i wake up in my real time house where i live now. that dream freaked me out for a while. it seemed so real. anybody ever have a similar dream?
