When someone is familiar, in the dream only.

Here's one I have occasionally. I see someone I know, maybe a woman or a friend. But I only know them from the dream.
Somehow I feel connected though. Maybe I love them, but don't know why. I can even miss them when I see them in the dream. It can be emotional. Any thoughts?

The dream might be inviting you to focus on the value of love, and not just the object of love. Because your values can never tarnish if you chose them well but human beings are not always available for parties or conversations, they might be busy and not free when you are free. I am not saying people are pointless, but having a strong personal interest in detached untainted value in itself outside of immediate people or objects is a great panacea and soother of your mental and emotional health.
