I wonder how it effect people's dreams in a more modern age with the kind of access people have, I wonder if we have more or less dreams now.

I’m from southeastern Pennsylvania, US. The landscape does feature kinda prominently in my dreams.
I dreamed frequently throughout life until a year ago when I made a significant change and for months afterwards, I struggled with regular sleep so not much dreaming until more recently when my sleep schedule kind of improved.

I found I dream more when I was younger, the dreams were stronger more vivid at times. Creepier even *laughs* I don't think my location changes my dreams, but I do think technology and the way the world is has limited my ability to dream well.

That’s interesting. I can’t decide if my dreams are weirder now than when I was younger or vice versa. They’re still often apocalyptic, sometimes feature people or even places that I don’t recognize, and they stay with me for days or weeks after.
But they do seem more lucid/linear than before.

I can sometimes change the channel on what I'm dreaming or tone it down if it bothers me to much some times. But full on lucid dream isn't something I've been able to do in a very long time. I had better success when I was younger.

I can’t take control of the dreams the way I used to be able to. That was always fun.

No, every so often. It would just trigger and I'd feel the dream world like it was everyday life. It was unnerving in a way.

Yep, from like the 2002 til when it broke down/shut down for the last time, me an a bunch of others. I remember a few oldies from back in the day. Still talk to one of them.

Sorts, at one point the webmaster reached out, but things weren't normal, the first time the forum went down it was for almost a year and a half. Back in 2005 is til about 2006ish my times may be a bit rough. And then it was up and running for a good long while, but when down again every so often, at one point a bunch of the old school forum people created there own forum just to talk when the DM forum when down. I know some were going to Dreamviews the lucid dreaming forums. And others just disappeared...some of them were older, like "Alwaysdreaming"

Just to name a few I remember off the top of my head.

The forum crashing more than once, i didn't know that.
Dreamviews, i tried it for awhile.
Although i liked it, it wasn't the same as the Dream Moods forum.

No it wasn't, nothings really been the same as Dream moods, honestly I'd love to liven this place up a bit, I even tried to reach out to a few old DMers and see if they might reach back, but one never knows. But for now I found my way here and it's not too bad if only a bit different. I'd love to see more real people here chatting and interacting like the old days of DM but I guess it starts with a couple of people actively being on here for more then just dreams lol

Seems to me that most of the members from the DM site don't even know this site exists.

Yeah it was actually weirdly hard to find...I forget how I stumbled into it, I think I was looking for stuff one DM and people looking for old members, honestly I'm a bit nostalgic about the old forum
I miss it a lot, I met so many great people there. What about you, what brought you to DM back in the day?

Well i found this site, after the unexpected 2019 crash.
I was trying to get info about why the crash occurred and what was being done to fix that forum.
Plus, i was wanting to find a woman who had joined the forum before the crash, who i had started private correspondence with.
Thus, i lost all contact with her, which is rather annoying.
As for joining the DM forum, well, i was looking for somewhere to share dreams for someone/anyone to interpret them.
