[continued] suddenly the doors of the truck in back swung open and a device about 7 feet high came out. it looked like a huge movie camera. it was accompanied by 2 men , one of whom was plainly the driver. a switch was pulled and the muzzle of the thing turned around until it was pointed directly at the rear entrance ,then a switch was flipped and a long white beam hit the back door. immediately a group of men began stealthily approaching the motel. one of them aimed his weapon and fired. a tubular beam the color of white grapefruit hit the door. it sliced trough the glass door the way a can opener opens a can of beans. then they all began firing at once. rays and beams of all descriptions began hitting the motel. the terrorists were caught by surprise. some of them tried to fight back but they were surrounded. then a voice announced over the loudspeaker TERRORISTS IN THE BUILDING. COMING UP BY THE EAST ELEVATOR. PREPARE YOURSELVES about 30 seconds after that the elevator doors opened . the firing commenced immediately. because this was taking place in an enclosed space instead of outdoors,there were not very many places to take cover. but the terrorists had lost the advantage of surprise. they were outgunned and rapidly overcome. J. hickory had a rod-like weapon which he used to capture two terrorists. as i began to think about all this, and why they had tried to attack this building (under interrogation one of them revealed the answer to this. someone had told them there was a scientific formula for constructing a weapon hidden on the premises,which was completely false) and the meaning and lessons to be drawn from it in a flash, i realized something-the interaction between the human and the superhuman! becoming aware of your own hidden potential and abilities and evolve into something beyond all this. as one author put it Power VS Force. or to put it another way,Balance. harmony between opposites. once you have set your mind to achieve this state no Power,either external or internal can prevent you.we were not afraid of that but a lot of people were. i had no more reached this conclusion than i heard behind me a MEOW. when i turned around i saw a cat with light golden fur wearing a pleased and satisfied expression on its face. i knew this cat. we were good friends. and right after that i woke up.​
