an trip though a portal and a dual vista

this dream begins with a pathway of light. white in the center, magenta on either side.the pathway began to move like an escalator. slowly at first, then faster progressing through various various stages of speed until it finally became virtually supersonic. i was aware of houses and buildings on either side flashing by with the speed of light. to focus on them was out of the question. first forward, then backward. first up ,then downward at a slant.spinning in a circle. first clockwise, then counterclockwise, then both at once. then at the apex of a triangle. gradually slows down, then comes to a virtual stop. i use the word virtual because it was always in motion, only now it was not perceptible. i looked around. on one side i saw a cherry wood counter with various objects. baskets of woven straw. blue stoneware dishes. a white porcelain teapot. with 5 green rings in the center. some wooden figures a bit beyond. on the other side across a roadway were wrought iron gates. and beyond that, tombstones and mausoleums as far as the eye could see. what are called cities of the dead. then i saw movement between the trees . soon a group of people arrived. and stood directly opposite to where i was. they all stood with their backs to me, gazing upward into the horizon at something i could not see but nevertheless felt. they were an interesting group.no two were dressed alike. one woman in a mulberry colored dress looked as if she might have stepped out of a painting by Gainsborough. a boy in blue, with old fashioned knickerbockers might have been lifted straight from a lithograph by Currier & Ives. all dressed in styles from different eras and all with their backs to me. except one. he wore an ivory white turban with a gold pedant in the center and a light gray robe with lining of silver. his face was turned in profile,he was also gazing toward the horizon but i could make out his features . he had a black beard. i looked from to the right. from one side to the other. i could grasp the symbolism and the dynamics at play here. on one side life(physical life?) and on the other death (eternal life?) but while i was contemplating all this the path began to move again, the way it always did, slowly at first, then faster. then i woke up

Dreams are like little plays which feature key emotions from the day before yet they are in a story which seems totally bizarre. If you do not understand the dream then yyou can make associations and look at symbolism to try to make a connection.

Light in dreams can link to insights and understanding. Have you been thinking in a very enlightened way recently? Have you been thinking in a very intense way? (another symbolic link to light in dreams)

The features death on one side and life on the other. What could that symbolize? Have you been confronted with a choice which is quite boring and lifeless and maybe old (symbolized by death) and a second choice which is exciting and interesting? (symbolized by life). Do any of the exciting figures or deathly figures make you think of anything specifically

Who does the china cups make you think of? I associate china cups with older people as they like things like that. What do older people make you think of right now. Dreams will feature little connections like these. Its just a matter of thinking about associations and symbolic meanings.

One thing is that you could, try to identify an issue which was happening so fast so that you could not take in the details. Does that correspond with anything in real life?

why, porcelain cups in my case symbolize tea.i am an avid tea drinker, and for me tea is calm and peace. as to the choice between life on the one side and death on the other, these people were obviously from another era and the symbolism is evident. it represents the dichotomy between life and death.but as one dream interpreter to whom i told this dream said"the message could have been that the boundary between life and death is not a wall but a flowing current of shared energy and meaning" the presence of the mystic in the white turban the light gray robe highlights this. i felt he was remotely aware of my presence but he was the only one who was.what i felt from them was they were looking at something beyond human comprehension. receiving guidance from the holy spirit is one way of putting it.

Dream analysis is very difficult if your looking at someone else's dream. Associations can be very personal. I associate china cups with old people. You associate china cups with peace and calm. Only your association counts. That's why analyzing someone else's dream is so difficult.

undoubtedly, this is the case. but all my life i have been a tea aficionado . a dream can be a highly personal affair or it can be a clairvoyant dream with an important message. some of mine have been the latter. this particular dream offered me insights as to the interaction between life and death. that is, as this other pointed out layered rather than linear.

I’m not the best with words but I have been following your dreams, so I speak from the whole not just this dream. I wonder how your dreams also remind me also of a form of active imagination by Carl Jung. I see the Piercing of the veil, your perception is sharp, you trust in the feeling by aligning yourself to the universal laws, just as a river is pulled by the tulleric current, the portal you experienced is just like that of the waterfall, as to the black hole, it pulls in many directions twisting and turning, you don’t resist, you allow urself to be guided by this flow, (subconscious) the waterfall separates and divides like the double edged sword cuts between soul and spirit, removing the impurities through this alchemical process.

The mother, father and child you seen, could represent you! As maybe also other archetypes. These are the aspects of the self, they remind us to not neglect these qualities, as they each have something to teach us. During the winter solstice it is a time of contemplation, identifying and letting go of parts of ourselves that no longer serve us, I would suggest you use this time to tap into all aspects of the self, the child - doing something you use to enjoy as a child, no matter how silly it may seem, on doing so could unlock a huge potential, reclaiming our innocence is part of the process of being reborn to our purest form, I always refer to the Lapis here. We manifest our archetypes through dreams/visions, maybe you have completed this and so your Merkaba is activating waiting for you to bring everything together.

For me it is like an alchemical process we go through, transmuting parts of ourselves, all these materials and elements you have been going through previously, while playing these roles in your dreams, these help us identify our weaknesses and strengths, and reminding us what we need to attend to, guiding us to greater potential.

Supersonic progressing quickly - forward backward up and down, as above so below, as within also without, again this could be preparing you for your Merkaba activation, the apex of the triangle, the hourglass is inverted triangles, the next phase is the coming together combining, and shifting, it’s an immense energy that activates our crystalline sequence within us.

The counter could symbolise your foundation and nourishment for the soul. Straw symbolises richness, prosperity and a good harvest, maybe you have been busy preparing for something greater, it is a time of contemplating and letting go of what no longer serves u, but how are you going to fill your baskets? It may be a time now to set some new goals and intentions. The dishes representing how your food is served, there are many possibilities by how you apply what you have learned to your being, but dont expect your subconscious to always provide, you must also apply these teaching to your life? we must celebrate our achievements and identify these in order to receive further guidance, every experience you have received from your subconscious has served you, guiding you and helping you manifest through archetypes within you, now is a time to prepare and bring this outwards and apply this into the physical life, you may ask yourself who am I? You may find that you are all of these things.

The teapot represents communication, it is with tea we share our stories and laughter, we gather round in our circle of friendships, so it maybe a time to get together with friends and family, and enjoy laughter and stories, this is where the magic happens! Wooden symbols are associated with nature, growth and stability, how can you carve them without knowing what you want, again this is a time of reflecting and setting intentions. The city of the dead is like that of the dark night of the soul, or a time of letting go, that we must prepare now in the winter Solstice to let parts of ourself die, for the new to emerge, think about what you have overcome, and what you wish to achieve, prune your tree ready for spring, but do celebrate your achievements, this is most important.

You saw movement in the trees, but rather that the trees spoke to you through the element of air, The people you were shown are representation of your inner child, anima and animus, the feminine aspect in the mulberry dress, the boy inner child, and the masculine in the turban and gold pendant maybe this is how you see yourself in the future, you are observing looking right to left at your surroundings, what are they trying to tell you by standing still and looking up? What is it you’re looking for? Everything is within you, the baskets are waiting to be filled, only you know what nourishment you need for your soul, what is it you desire, now is the time to align to these intentions, and allow the planetary energies to manifest within you.

Nature giving you the feeling of all directions, it is time to stop and stand still now within the circle, a time of inner peace and reflection, you have grasped the interconnectedness between the physical and ethereal. You have discovered that the only way out is in, bring everything to the centre, share the laughter and love, celebrate your victories, this is a perfect time of the year to make this happen, and this will expand your merkaba activation within you.

These are just my perspectives based on my own personal beliefs, apply what resonates with you!

Something you asked me a while ago, I think this is your answer -
139 - Glory be to the father, and to the son, and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is Now and ever shall be, world without end!

Hello AL1ce, the woman in the mulberry colored dress being my own feminine side and the boy in blue, the inner child is extremely interesting. there were more people there but i described the ones That stood out to me the most. now the Mystic in the white turban and the gray robe representing me is one side to the question i had not thought of. i thought of him in terms of being a spirit guide and messenger from the divine realm. ivory traditionally symbolizing purity and we all know what gold symbolizes. light gray is considered the color of compromise, but also in some cultures of deeper knowledge silver being associated with healing and the moon.it is also a natural antibiotic. so this also symbolize not only knowledge but how to use that knowledge. i looked at the teapot, which for me has very nearly the same symbolism .it does for you. i was being shown the interaction between life and afterlife. but the path-which i look on as you do,being very similar to Merkaba- then started while i was pondering all this. i was seeing this for a reason

You are VERY close to your unconscious. It could be your challenge is keeping your feet on the ground and in the present. That is not to discount this amazing dream. There are so many symbols to work with. I recommend the book, "Inner Work, " by John Sandford. It helps one to work with dreams.

you are right about keeping my feet on the ground being my greatest challenge. in addition to dreams sometimes i receive cryptic mental messages as well. and hypnogogic visions. so you may well imagine the intensity of these. so yes, staying in the present is a very great challenge . sometimes i do what Socrates taught Dan Millman. i ask myself where am i? ;here what time is it? :now. it always works

It is possible the other people were archetypes within you. The Merkaba to me is a fusion, bringing everything together, as all these dreams and manifestations are who you are, so there is no need to look outside of yourself, because everything is within you, I would meditate with the Metatrons cube and see what this brings you, make it the last thing you see before you sleep and the first thing you see when you wake, If you can print this symbol out and position all parts of the self within it, and at all its points, this should help you bring everything to the centre, and expand your awareness. I see from the scenario, the veil is thinning and your perception is sharpening, these archetypes within you want to come outside now and guide you through intuition, as they also do through dreams, all you have to do is recognise them within you, the mystic, the hero, the sage etc, they are who you are and what make you whole. They will serve you well, once you learn to tap into each of them through life, and within time you will gain great mastery over them. just as in the Major Arcana was lost through time, its finding its way back to us through our dreams and visions. We are tracing the parallels between mental processors and alchemical processors which seek to transform (symbolically) matter into gold!

I am not familiar with a book by Sandford on Inner Work, but I could be wrong.

yes, i think it is just possible that those people were symbolic. they may or may not have actually lived, but they were archetypes anyway. but you are right .all i have to do i recognize the hero and sage and mystic within me(the last two,i already have .the first needs a bit more working on) but yes, i think the world is on the verge of a great awakening. i am not certain in what manner this will happen, but happen it will. i think you are right about the apex of the triangle . time to examine your surroundings.and evaluate . i am planning to post another dream. i would be very much interested in your opinion of it.
