I dreamt of a big red hummingbird flying in front of my to land on my right shoulder.
when I took a close look at it, it looked more like a phoenix.
Can anyone tell me what this could mean?
Greetings

The humming bird is the only bring that can fly backwards as well as forwards, and even upside down, as small as they are, they are quick and able to change their course instantly, they are also transmutable in shamanism, the humming bird I found a connection to the light house from dreams and inner reflection, they are guided by the light, but remember the light is a vibrational frequency, which helps them navigate through life, they feel their way, trusting and flowing with the universal laws, as soon as they sense a negative energy, they are out of there in a flash, protecting themselves, using their extraordinary sensors, they know what they want, they can taste it in the air, and they follow their desire, they never stop believing, driven by hope itself, they represent freedom or the enhancement of your present freedom, quick and always looking or possibilities, and when they see it they thrive, the nectar being their source of intuition, a flock of hummingbirds are referred to as a bouquet, a glittering, a hover, a shimmer, or a tune. Does this have any significance to you? The Phoenix is who you are, what you will become, your potential! it is about transformation and finding your inner light, your inner strength and bringing it outwards, reclaiming your essence within. Its a mythical immortal bird that engulfs in flames only to be reborn from its ashes. It is a very powerful bird that represents change and transformation in ones life. It likes to make its appearance during a specific time in one’s life when they are undergoing a spiritual transformation or conscious shift. The phoenix is a unconscious feminine energy comprise mainly of fire rising upwards implies its relation to the awakening of the kundalini energy. The wolf can also be significant to the phoenix as the masculine aspect, maybe this is something that may have already appeared or will appear in future dreams, as he can also manifest.
I hope this helps.

Hello Selin, the humingbird is the bird who, like a honeybee, flies from flower to flower, inserting her tongue to drink (i think) the sweetness of them. But for a dreamexplainer the way the ego in the dream expres his/herself is very crucial.

You said "flying in front of me/my"; a freudian slip: as if trying to say at the same time my bird, belonging to me

Birds represent spiritual beings, angels, The Soul/God.
Flying In front of you thus guiding you!

And you said "to land on my right shoulder". That means s(he is/was kind kind of 'your right hand': thus your great help(er).

. .... But, "when I took a close look at it, it looked more like a phoenix."

The phoenix bird symbolizes immortality, resurrection and life after death

Alltogether in I conclude that indeed this bird(s) represent
1. your individual Soul,
2. God,
3. your godly spirit, better known as the howly spirit
at the same time.

As to 1. and 2. It means that God had left you because you had comitted a/The mortal sin: bowing for another god/demon, comitting adultery, thus choosing for him, breaking the first amandment, but now has come back, or better said: He has accepted you back.

As to 3. Because of God leaving you behind without His Light, you were spiritually dead, with a 'dead spirit', a demon leading you. If you know now what i am talking about it was indeed a dark period behind you.

Going back to "the humingbird is the bird who, like a honeybee, flies from flower to flower, inserting her tongue to drink the sweetness of them" expresses I think your spiritual (and maybe also your fysical behaviour) that time: like a nightflower,
like river who arives, kisses and immidiately goes away.
In spanish I now hear the a song now (lobo domesticado of Tommy Olivecia) " ... como el rio que llega que besa y que besa y se va" (perfect ryhme).

I mean spiritually you were bizzy with al kind of things or gods. Or maybe for instance you just come from an hindu home serving numerous gods. You were not faithfull to one god.

Your dream is actually the spiritual language for succintly laying out where you were and the reason why and what happened to you and where you are now ...
