Dreampt I was shifting gears

Dreamt I was shifting a five speed I used to own years ago. I believe it was my '85 Mustang GT. What didn't make sense was that the dream actually made sense! Didn't have difficulty shifting, going into gear, or anything else about driving. But the dream did seem about shifting, not driving. Lately I've had some other dreams that made sense. I like that. Your thoughts?

Seems pretty on the nose here, you are finally ramping up with your expectations and actions. Ready to shift to the next step.
Maybe because it was related to your old vehicle it's related to a dream or ambition you had at that time.

I hope things are going as well for you as this dream leads me to believe.

Thanks for the quick reply. It could also have been that I simply miss my old car. I've had several dreams about driving past cars I really miss. Maybe sometimes they can be taken literally. Of course it could be about my life too.

For sure, it can be literal but I think specially when it's literal it changes something in us,and set other things in motion. Because now we are actively thinking about things.

I'm also in the same boat, Or at least similar.
So far only 2 interviews...after a boat load for resumes and months of nothing.
But I'm still doing minor side gigs like house and pet sitting, to earn and gain any skills and money.
It's not much but it's helping my pay for bills and things, while I work on me.
Maybe you just need something to distract you that's outside the normal? Help get your juices flowing and mental engines fired but in a good way. Y'know?

Believe me I sympathize. I have a couple hobbies.

Maybe something different something you wouldn't normally think of doing... I feel like maybe shifting gears could also be reminding you of that.
I tried something new and met some people, you never know.
I assume your a car guy... given your love of classics over the years. (aussumed from your previous statement. About Cars through the years)

As a auto body repairman who diagnosed with Autism in the Caribbean region who restores cars, Is your car Has 5.0 V8 engine in it? My client from the back road has 1986 Red Mustang GT 5.0 currently at my workplace in the process of being restored for the 3rd time 6 years ago. IIRC in 2018 during my final year in high school, the car was originally painted black with blue design in it had rust spots all over the whole car except the flooring.

Anyway back in your dream topic, what color painted on your 1985 Mustang GT and how much speed did you do? Yours has Hemi engine and plenty power in it.

Mine was Oxford White with a grey interior. The dream was about shifting. I don't even remember how fast I was driving or going, as that wasn't important. I also had the 5.0 (302) engine.
