Envolked Dreams Of Turtles

After waking this morning I could not recall my dream until I read an article about results of mulching leaves and how it could benefit warm cover for animals, turtles were also mentioned which envolked what I had seen in my dreams this morning of a snapping turtle which its ridges stood out, its neck stretched out with others turtles clustered around and stacked atop of it and in the distance was a young one with its legs,neck and tail fully extended from its shell pacing along by itself.

What are turtles? Survivors; they live a long time, they self-protect. Usually, they move slowly and it works for them.
Symbolically, turtles are a symbol of the feminine and the Great Mother.

Well dreams can link to key intuitions from the previous day or thoughts about the day to come. The young turtle maybe a symbol for a youngster that you know and have been thinking about. Walking along alone could represent someone who is behaving very independently. Did the turtle seem confident an able to cope? That could be a clue. Who could that be a metaphor for.

Turtles have hard shells and so they could be symbols of someone who has become very defensive. Does that make you think of someone who retreats into their shell. If so then the dream could be about that.
