Good dreams of a world cup winning shirt

I keep having dreams of:

-Seeing the England red 1966 world cup t shirt

-Seeing people or those players with me in the England red 1966 world cup winning t shirt

What could these dreams indicate?

Hi Drum777

I often get football dreams when I am feeling confident and happy. Playing well is symbolic of days when I was younger and could run about so dreaming of football could capture a thought such as "everything is coming together. I can do things that I thought I couldn't".

Seeing such a 1966 player running around is probably not a good omen as they are nearly all dead now (except for Geoff Hurst). So having dreams of dead people could have a special symbolic meaning. It could capture a thought such as "I am a has been, living in the past". So it may have a negative symbolic meaning.

Wearing the 1966 Red shirt could symbolise any situation where you want to identify with a cause. That maybe about a different subject altogether. But it may just be a way of wanting to show your support for the current England team.

Some people believe in premonitions (I do as I have had very convincing premonitions). But I don't think this is a premonition as it's too literal. And anyway England have a chance of winning the Euro's as they are amongst the top ranking teams and such a premonition would not be convincing as it is likely to happen. I often think premonitions are cryptic. For instance if you were going to have a premonition of winning a tournament then it maybe a premonition of something that will stick in your mind. So if the winning goal caused a young fan to spill an ice cream and then start crying then that would be a convincing premonition if the dream replayed reality.

Thank you for your insights.

In my opinion, it has to have positive connotations.

The 1966 world cup win will always be a piece of folklore, very sentimental.

In my personal life, I am going ahead in life. The dream is very colourful.

I also see people who are alive wearing the 1966 kit.

A world cup win, is a win. I've never really won before.
