Hi, Keith. Welcome. You will find a wide range of ideas/speculations/viewpoints/insights around here, even if from just a few people. Sharing specific dreams (even a most-recent repetition) in as much detail as you can manage will surely net you the best results and most insight in the end. Even the act of forming, organizing, and communicating the dreams can be very helpful to you.
Just please keep in mind that the dream settings, in general, care not one wit for material wealth since it means so little in comparison to mental/spiritual health (which are usually highlighted by certain emotional indicators), and so often money--especially gold coins like you would find in a lost treasure chest--are highly symbolic. There are others here much more in tune with symbolism than I, but I can recognize a trend and a need as well as the next. Instead of fixating on the various forms of money that your dreams seem to be prompting you to look at, look deeper at what you-on-your-journey could gain from those images/symbols. What can they be trying to show you? How can those images make you feel? Warning or wary, or fortunate or happy, etc.? Those will be important indicators/reference points! How do you feel about your dream-reactions to those finds?
Parents might not even be directly involved in this, but merely a trigger for larger "get-on-with-it" moments that mean you are on the cusp of something more profound/meaningful to your life (than mere physical currency). [These days, the word "trigger" is used in mostly the negative, but it is also a potent term for those kinds of stimulations that prompt action or deeper consider (both of which can support healthy growth-in-understanding).] In any case, I wish for you meaningful dreams.
