Pondering The Outcome Of A Horrific Dream

I was in a dream seated at a table with another person talking and eating and drinking on an upper floor of a Hotel restaurant when an elevator door opened and a male body fell down the shaft with a noose around his neck. I did not see any after effects as I immediately proceed to wake up. It left me pondering if he had been pushed or jumped on his own. There was other parts that preceded this incidence in the dream but I cannot recall them, but this segment still stands out days later.

That does sound a bit traumatic.

Personally it sounds like your mind pushing something you want to forget to the fore front, even as you sit casually having lunch, perhaps you allowed something to happen to someone and you regret it.
A hanging in your dream represents feelings of insecurity. The hanging may symbolize aspects of yourself that you want to eliminate.
Dreaming that the elevator is out of order or that it is not letting you off symbolizes that your emotions have gotten out of control. It may be a reflection of your life or your career. Are you feeling stuck in some aspect of your life, whether it is your career, relationship, etc?

Either way it sure feels Iike your subconscious is trying to get you to pay attention to something worrying.

I have some ideas but i think that you must make some things clear. Maybe by use the edit tool or simply explain: Who were "they"?. Just one male body fell down, but a noose was around their neck, and..., "they were pushed". Is it on purpose that you have written it down like that?

I did word it incorrectly as I meant to refer to the subject as a single male
