What's new

TV and Movies

What have you seen lately? What did you like?

The latest new movie I saw was the Super Mario Galaxy Movie... took my son who is obsessed with Mario. He absolutely loved it. I thought it was fun.

As far as TV, recently I rewatched WandaVision and then watched Agatha All Along for the first time. Both of them are shockingly good and very character driven for something that came out of the MCU! Agatha All Along is also very female led and queer affirming which I thought was cool. Definitely one of the best shows I've seen in some time.

I also watch Game Changer on Dropout, which has just started a new season and is very funny!

Please share what you've been watching recently!

I work at a cinema, one of the biggest perks is that I get to watch a lot of movies.

I recently watch Spa Weekend, Practical Magic 2, & Sons and Forgotten Island.

Spa Weekend, is a bit of a chick flick. It wasn't bad but it's not the kind of movie I usually sit down and enjoy.

Practical Magic 2 was ok, I think I would have enjoyed it more if it was released 20 years ago. I'm planning to read the book series at some point.

& Sons was also ok, I'm currently reading the book, I was actually hoping to finish the book before the movie came out.

The best movie I watched recently was called Forgotten Island. It's a kids movie but it had really strong character development and a good story line.

I'm on the fence about watching Resident Evil, I used to watch horror movies but I don't really enjoy watching gore on a big screen.
