The vivid dream I had experienced was part 1980s / 1990s premise to TV series 'Quantum Leap' (with almost no action scenes, adn no TECH tools), and especially part best-practices of meditation experiences - all to the Henry Mancini theme, to the 'Young and the Restless' (a.k.a. Nadia's Theme) soap opera.
Note: It might be helpful to view an early episode (as early episodes of series tend to focus on premise) to this fun T.V. series, and listen to Mancini's 'Nadia's Theme') in order to sense context to this dream.
In the dream, I was slowly floating down through a sand-like environment, and rising-up through this same sand-like environment to fall into another person's identity - a person who lived in what appeared like the 1960s era - based on the stlyes cars, fashions I had viewed through an indoor window.
I felt I became a person at a lecturn in an open-space area in an antique shop amongst an audience of about a dozen people. I was about to speak, yet I don't remember what I had spoken about - the natural fear of speking in front of an audience. Another description of my senitment is similar to the opening scence in 'Quantum Leap' episodes, the main character (Sam) quipped, "Oh Boy" at the beginning of each TV episode in response to the seemingly ridiculous indentity Sam had "fallen into."
In one part of the dream, I found myself floating and, circling above (near ceiling level) what appeared to be the same antique store interior - while viewing the scene in black & white. At this point, I had floated back to my current well.....self.
Once again, I meditated my way into another identity. This was an outdoor area to a small outdoor-mall specializing in specialty shops selling goods made by local producers - a scene that appeared to be in the 1990s-era (based on car styles), I found myself (succesfully) assisting a dedicated colleague who was having a bad-day - that is, I had let my colleague go-home early that day, and I had proceeded to determine (on both personal, and business related matters) what was bothering my colleague in order for everybody to get a fresh start the next day.
The last part of this dream involved my schedule to meet familliar people (dreamwise) for lunch - that is I had to schedule-in regular life "somewhere in-between" my remarkable meditation experiences. I remember hearing, "quit fooling-around with meditation, and let's have lunch!" I awoke to (pardon the pun) meeting these familliar people for lunch - all while successfully juggling lunch, with the stunning meditation experience I was (just as well) speechless to mention.
The last part of this dream included the opening few seconds to the 1960s era song, 'This Magic Moment' by 'Jay & The Americans.' "This Magic Moment' is a terrific song.
Being half asleep, I felt it was necessary to analyze the dynamics of this dream e.g., an "imagine the possibilities like" sentiment. After fully waking-up, I speculated that we might just have TECH. in a few years that allows us to record our dreams - with reasonabe audio/visual quality recordings. At present, we can only write about our dreams - and sometimes include "bits and pieces" of realted audio/visual content.
