What does this mean

Me, my two daughters (1 month old and 3 years old), my sister, my dog (who passed in October) and my cat were at my moms home where we live and something in the house kept taking the kids underneath the furniture into like a black hole and I kept having to reach under the furniture to pull them out and whatever it was kept reaching out trying to drag me in every time I reached for them and I kept telling my sister and calling my mom and the neighbors but nobody believed me so I kept trying to leave with the kids and the animals but every time I’d get close to the door the other kid would disappear back into one of the holes under the furniture so finally my sister saw it happening so we each held one of the babies but it kept on dragging us back in so we set the house on fire and tried to run outside but my cat and dog disappeared back into the house. What does this mean? While I was dreaming, it felt so dark, demonic and scary. Whatever it was was trying to take my babies. I woke up sweating and my heart racing. What does this mean?

House = your mind/self. Being in your mother's house = deep-rooted emotional patterns or past trauma.

Children in danger = feeling like your peace, innocence, or responsibilities are being threatened. Protective instincts in overdrive.

Furniture hiding black holes = suppressed fears, things buried in the everyday or ignored, pulling at you subconsciously.

Trying to warn others but no one believes you = feeling unheard, unsupported, or dismissed in real life.

Animals (dog + cat) = loyalty (dog) and independence/intuition (cat). The fact that they disappear = fear of losing emotional support or parts of yourself.

Sister helping = shared experience, finally getting support maybe starting to be believed.

Fire = destruction for freedom. A desperate need for change, cleansing, or escape.

Heart racing, waking in fear = your body processing deep emotional stress while you sleep.

What it means overall:
This dream is your minds consideration that something in your current emotional environment feels unsafe. Like no matter how hard you try to protect what matters, something keeps pulling you back into an old pattern, trauma, or fear/anxiety. You’re exhausted unstable trying to hold everything together on your own. But the dream turns when your sister sees it too meaning you’re no longer totally alone in this.

The fire? That’s the break point. When you decide enough is enough and you’ll burn it all down if that’s what it takes to protect your peace.

It’s dark because it feels dark right now. But you’re stronger than whatever’s pulling at you. And now, your mind’s showing you it’s ready to fight back.
